EMG Fatiagability Test

EMG Fatiagability TestEMG Soft Tissue Analysis

Electromyography (EMG) is used to examine the electrical activity within the muscles of the lumbar spine. Attached to the patient for a series of functional movements, the EMG can help to determine if protective muscle spasm is present; indicating the presence and nature of any underlying pathology.

EMG Fatiagability Test

A 90 second test is used to determine the extent of your paraspinal muscles wasting. It consists of the patient being placed in a controlled range of movement, working against a set resistance for 90 seconds. EMG data assesses the level to which the muscles fatigue over the test.
